SHUTTLE
An intra-area shuttle operates from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily at the Purgatory Village ski base area. The new Mountain TranSport shuttle offers scheduled service between the town of Durango and Durango Mountain Resort from 7:00 am to midnight. The charge for one-way service from Durango is currently $5 per person.

Lift ticket is required but not included in lesson cost. Lunch is included with full day lesson. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL KIDS IN LESSONS AGES 14 & UNDER.

- In 2007 we were informed that manufacturers will no longer be producing snowblades (also known as ski blades). This may or may not affect availability for this season but will affect availability in the years to come as equipment becomes older and worn.

After a day of skiing, you'll glide across a winter wonderland to a cozy mountain cabin, where hot chocolate and a hearty Western-style dinner waits on the stove. The sleighs carry 10 to 12 people, and blankets are provided. Each sleigh ride lasts 2 hours.
SNOWMOBILE ADVENTURES

Ride high into the mountains with Snowmobile Adventures at Purgatory. There are a variety of one- to four-hour guided tours available, and all trips depart from the base of the Purgatory mountain. Tours begin as early as 9 a.m. and the last tour returns to the resort by 5 p.m. Must be age 6 or older.

The Winter Train, a coal-fired, steam-operated authentic narrow gauge train, offers you unbelievable and spectacular scenery as seen only from one of the last great trains in North America. The Winter Train schedule begins on the day before Thanksgiving and runs daily (except Christmas day) through April, from Durango to Cascade Canyon.
MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK
Explore the mysterious cliff dwellings of a long-lost civilization. Mesa Verde is the only national park dedicated to preserving works of prehistoric man. The park is open in winter and located 30 miles west of Durango.
SHOPPING
Downtown Durango is a National Historic District filled with quaint local shops as well as stores featuring name-brand and designer fashions. There are numerous art galleries as well.
TUBING
The Alpine Snow Coaster tubing hill, a 600-foot-long slope, is serviced by a surface lift and is lit for use into the night. Discover Durango Mountain Resort’s backcountry on 16 km of groomed trails. The Nordic Center is located across Highway 550 from Purgatory Mountain. Equipment rentals & instruction are available.
